Editor's Note: The 1998 Distinguished Staff Award recipients are: Cindy C. Farrell, patient services coordinator, Pediatrics Clinic, UW Medical CenterRoosevelt; Scott D. Mah, manager, Telecommunications Services; Brenda K. Montgomery, RN supervisor, Research; Kristen C. Spexarth, gardener, Grounds; and Tom Wade, machine mechanic supervisor; Dentistry. The University-wide recognition includes a $3,000 award. Health Science recipients are featured in the Health Sciences section; the others are featured below. The recipients will be presented at the University's annual awards program at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 11 in Meany Hall along with other annual award winners.
