The Journal of Baltic Studies

The Journal of Baltic Studies is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge about all aspects of the Baltic Sea Region's political, social, economic, and cultural life, past and present. Preference is given to original contributions that are of general scholarly interest.

Published quarterly by the AABS, the annual fee for both membership in the Association and a subscription to the Journal is U.S. $60.00, $25.00 for full-time students, and $35.00 for emeritus members. Members of the Association receive a free personal subscription to the Journal.

Manuscripts
All submissions should be made online at the Journal of Baltic Studies ScholarOne Manuscripts site. New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site submissions should be made via the Author Centre. For publication policies, please consult the Style Guide.

The Journal of Baltic Studies is covered in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index and in Current Contents/Arts & Humanities, and in Academic Abstracts/CD-ROM. Articles on history are abstracted by the American Bibliographical Center and appear in Historical Abstracts. Articles dealing with the medieval period are abstracted in the International Medieval Bibliography. Abstracts of articles on literature, linguistics, and folklore appear in MLA Abstracts of the Modern Language Association and BL (Bibliographie Linguistique/Linguistic Bibliography). Articles on art are abstracted in Bibliography of the History of Art (formerly RILA) and those on music in RILM (International Repertory of Music Literature).

The Journal is available on microfilm from the National Archive Publishing Company.
