highly capable students to the Ph.D. program
and place Ph.D. graduates at well-respected

provide leadership and service for the academic
accounting profession nationally and the business
and professional accounting community in the Pacific
Northwest.

and hold leadership positions in national
academic organizations and in professional
accounting organizations in the Puget Sound
area.
- Provide
leadership in the Business School and University.
- Provide
sufficient opportunities for faculty and
students to interact with the professional
accounting community.

obtain and use resources effectively and efficiently
to accomplish this mission.

sufficient funding from the State of Washington
for the basic academic programs.

sufficient endowed funding to attract and
retain key faculty.
- Secure
sufficient annual contributions to provide
the needed margin of excellence in the accounting
