INSTRUCTIONS

The images below are screen shots of parts of someone's computer screen. The screen shots were taken when the user clicked on something. To protect the user's privacy, text and some images in the screen shot may have been covered with black rectangles. The red dotted line shows the path of the user's mouse and the arrow cursor shows the position of the user's mouse when it was clicked. We would like you to identify what the user was trying to click on in the image in the section labeled 'TASK - Identify the Target' by DRAWING A RECTANGLE AROUND THE EDGES OF THE TARGET you think they were aiming for.

Example

The cursor is positioned over a red button - that is likely to be the target.

A rectangle has been drawn over the target:

TASK - Identify the Target

Draw a rectangle by clicking on the top-left corner of the target and dragging to the bottom-right corner. When you click and drag on the image you will see a red rectangle appear over the target. Try to DRAW THE RECTANGLE AS CLOSE TO THE TARGET EDGES AS YOU CAN. You may click and drag to draw the rectangle as many times as you like. Clicking on the image will automatically clear anything you have drawn.

NOTE: If you can't identify the target's edges, or you can't see the full target, you do not need to draw a rectangle on the image. Instead, select one of the radio buttons below the task image.
