ACES works to provide opportunities for professional development and outreach outside of those typically encountered by Graduate students.<\/p>\n<p>Some of ACES&#8217;s yearly events includes <a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/acesche\/2019-discovery-days\">Discovery Days<\/a>, a UW wide science fair, the <a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/acesche\/2019-distinguished-young-scholars-seminar\">Distinguished Young Student Seminar<\/a>, an opportunity for rising researchers to share their work, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/acesche\/2023-graduate-student-symposium\">Graduate Student Symposium<\/a>, a meeting point for student researchers and industry representatives to learn about work being done.
