Discovery Days is an annual two-day program hosted by the University of Washington, where thousands of students, teachers, and families come for exhibits, learning, and fun! At the 201 Discovery Days, the Chemical Engineering Department organized activities and exhibits, including the effects non-Newtonian fluids with a “walk on water” exhibit and a “make your own silly putty” exhibit, as well as the effects of ultra-low temperatures on materials, using dry ice!<\/p>\n
