As a recent grad from the University of Washington, I just couldn’t stay away from the ole alma mater and joined the UW ACTU. I finally graduated with a degree in Public Health after a long stay in Ecuador to study the HIV/AIDS crisis there and volunteer at an AIDS orphanage.
The ACTU was the perfect landing pad after graduation. Research at the ACTU combines many interests for me; infectious disease, public health and patient care.
I work primarily for the CHARTER study: screening participants, neuropsych testing, scheduling, troubleshooting, lab work; and generally all other grunt work mandated by Mel.
When I’m not in CHARTER-land, I’m usually bashing around Seattle with friends, and fighting for acceptance into med school.
