| Ann C. Collier, M.D., is Professor of Medicine,
University of Washington (UW), and has been Director of the UW AIDS
Clinical Trials Unit since 1985. Dr.
Collier received her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover,
New Hampshire, and internal medicine and infectious disease training at
the University of Washington. She
was the Director of the Harborview Medical Center AIDS Clinic from 1987 to 1990. Her
research activities include a variety of projects relating to the clinical
course and treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and its
associated complications, and the epidemiology of cytomegalovirus in adult
men and women. She has
conducted numerous antiretroviral treatment trials, including combination
therapy studies. Dr. Collier
is the mother of three children. She
and her family enjoy skiing, in-line skating, and hiking.
