Dr. Barbara Leigh is a Senior Research Scientist at the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute. She earned an A.B. in Psychology from Princeton University, then an M.S. and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Washington. In 1995, Dr. Leigh also earned an M.P.H. in Epidemiology at the UW. She has been conducting substance abuse research at ADAI since 1987. She is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Epidemiology. Dr. Leigh is the recipient of a K05 Senior Scientist award from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, awarded to outstanding scientists with a sustained level of high productivity.
