Klickitat County, Washington
Klickitat County is located in south-central Washington between the Cascade Mountains and the Horse Heaven Hills. It runs along the Columbia River Gorge bordering Oregon. The county was named after the Klickitat Indian tribe and in 1859 became a separate county government.
