Lewis County, Washington
Lewis County, a land of forested Cascade and Coast Range Mountains and Chehalis and Cowlitz River Valley plains, is located in southwestern Washington. The Oregon Territorial Legislature created Lewis County on December 18, 1845, the first county of present Washington.
