STD Clinic at Harborview

Where Is It?
The STD clinic is located at Harborview Medical Center (325 Ninth Avenue, Seattle) on the ground floor in the East Clinic wing. It is the last clinic on the right when walking south from the central elevators. Please check in at the front desk of the STD clinic to let Dr. Shafii know that you have arrived.

Who is my contact person?
You will be working with Dr. Taraneh Shafii.

What time do I need to be there?
Clinic runs from 1:30-5:00 pm.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in the garage for a fee or you can try to find parking on the street around the hospital (or follow 9th down the hill just south of Harborview and try Yessler). You can also take a shuttle from the UW to HMC. View the shuttle schedule.

Special Instructions:
The STD clinic at Harborview is run by Public Health - Seattle & King County and mainly serves underserved and high risk populations - approximately 10% of patients seen in the STD clinic are teenagers. The clinic population offers a rich experience for residents in the practice of taking a sexual history, performing male and female genital exams, and diagnosing and managing sexually transmitted diseases.
