| Dr.
Ann Giesel is a board-certified adolescent medicine specialist
and board-certified pediatrician who has been with the University
of Washington Adolescent Medicine group since she completed
her fellowship here in 1991. She received her BA from Yale
University and MD from the University of Louisville. After
completing her pediatric residency at the University of
Washington, she was a fellow in Child Sexual Abuse at Harborview
Medical Center prior to doing her fellowship in Adolescent
Medicine. Currently, she is Clinical Associate Professor
in Pediatrics and serves as the Medical Director of the
King County Juvenile Detention Center Health Clinic, is
Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Children's
Hospital and Regional Medical Center, and attends in the
Teen HIV Clinic and in the Evening Clinics for Homeless
Youth.
