Community
Outreach
The
University of Washington Section of Adolescent Medicine is committed
to being a resource for adolescents in the community. Whenever possible, we try to accommodate talks for adolescent
providers or members of the community. In our role as adolescent advocates in the community we are prepared to help the media better understand adolescent issues. If we can be of service, please contact our office at (206) 987-2028
and leave a detailed message so we may direct you to the best resource. To best serve you, we need at least one month advance notice to set up a talk in the community.
In
addition we offer a series of presentations for adolescent health
providers at the Children's Hospital and Medical Center. Adolescent 411 is a monthly meeting open to community providers which features a different speaker each month discussing a particular adolescent health related topic. Please
contact our office if you have questions about this or other presentations
or if you would like to attend.
