Stress Reduction & Biofeedback Clinic

About the Services:
The Stress Reduction and Biofeedback Clinic provides a behavioral medicine program utilizing biofeedback-mediated relaxation/mental imagery (RMI) training techniques for children and adolescents aged 9-18 years. Although the primary focus of the clinic is on pediatric headache, some children and adolescents with additional diagnoses such as recurrent abdominal pain, Raynaud’s phenomenon or borderline hypertension may also benefit from this approach.

The Headache and Biofeedback Clinic uses a behavioral treatment model and is not a diagnostic clinic. All patients seen in the clinic must have received a thorough medical evaluation, and have PCP approval for insurance purposes before being scheduled. Please note that some insurance providers do not cover biofeedback.

Appointments: To make a new appointment or cancel an existing appointment, please call the Scheduling Center at (206) 987-2028, option 1.

Questions: If your child is already a patient or to find out if this clinic may be of help to your child, please contact the consulting nurses at (206) 987-2080.

Referral Information for Providers: Prior to referring a patient to this clinic, please review our pre-referral guidelines (see page 1).
