With concerts September through May, 45 renowned musicians tour the region performing thematically curated classical music selections. The Seattle Times describes Emerald City Music as the \u201cplace where art and audience collide\u201d, because of the personal and casual nature of the concert experience. Emerald City Music seeks a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern for Fall 2017.<br \/>\nThis internship is well suited for college students in Seattle, Tacoma, or Olympia, WA who are seeking careers in arts administration or are curious to learn more about the arts management field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Interest in nonprofit management, arts management, or event planning<br \/>\n\u2013 Solid understanding of excellent customer service practices<br \/>\n\u2013 Outstanding communication and organization skills<br \/>\n\u2013 Proven attention to detail and ability to multi-task efficiently<br \/>\n\u2013 Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, etc.)<br \/>\n\u2013 Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment with a friendly demeanor<br \/>\n\u2013 Availability, energy, and willingness to work occasional evenings and late nights<br \/>\n\u2013 Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds<br \/>\n\u2013 Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable transportation<br \/>\n<strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nSend your resume to Andrew Goldstein, Executive Director, through <a href=\"https:\/\/washington-csm.symplicity.com\/students\/?signin_tab=0&amp;signin_tab=0&amp;PHPSESSID=2ff10523fd8036e515858d18ad902f58\">HuskyJobs<\/a>, and include a cover page explaining your interest in\u00a0Emerald City Music\u2019s mission.
