Apply for this paid internship working in the North of 45<sup>th<\/sup>Community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Husky Neighborhood Interns (HNIs) work on projects to improve public safety, promote civility and foster a greater sense of community for the students and permanent residents living north of campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:\u00a0<\/strong>Compensation will be $15\/ hour with a maximum of 7-10 hours per week .\u00a0 Students must be able to work in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time Commitment: <\/strong>Must be able to attend weekly staff meetings and North of 45<sup>th<\/sup> Committee Quarterly meetings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organization and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage projects and provide leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks and take initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>How to Apply:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send a resume and cover letter addressing <strong>why you would like to work in the North of 45<sup>th<\/sup> area <\/strong>and <strong>what issues or concerns do you see facing this community <\/strong>to Aaron Hoard \u00a0at <a href=\"mailto:ahoard@uw.edu\">ahoard@uw.edu<\/a> \u00a0by Noon on <strong>October 13<sup>th<\/sup>. <\/strong>\u00a0 Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis after we receive resumes and cover letters.\u00a0 Interviews will begin on Oct 16<sup>th<\/sup> and decision letters will go out on Oct 20<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Please see attached for a detailed job description.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Husky Neighborhood Intern\u00a0 See this attachment for complete\u00a0information:\u00a0HNI Job Description 2017-2018 Want to work in the UW Community?
