This internship will develop the skill set of the emerging arts leader while also providing them the opportunity to contribute their unique insights and perspectives. Two home departments will be chosen based on the interns\u2019 professional or academic experience and career objectives, and the intern will work across these departments to gain understanding of careers available to pursue.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>During the 10 week program, the emerging arts leader will work with key museum departments to develop a community engagement project or program inspired by SAM\u2019sspecial exhibitions and permanent collection, culminating with a portfolio presentation that reflects the multidisciplinary work developed throughout the course of the Internship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<h5><a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2018\/03\/21\/various-positions-available-at-seattle-art-museum\/membership-and-sam-fund-coordinator-3-2018-ext\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1763\">Membership and SAM Fund Coordinator Position<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Works as part of the membership team to support membership and SAM Fund efforts at all levels. Candidates should demonstrate extensive knowledge of the field and a strong vision for a forward-thinking, dynamic program that showcases the strength of American art in the Seattle community.
