Five Ply Design is looking for an intern\/student\/recent grad who is willing to work part-time (to start out) helping to support our work in the shop and design studio.
Ideally, the candidate will be studying design,\u00a0but we are totally open to anyone who can work with their hands and their minds to do great stuff.

\u00a0a typical work day will include:<\/b><\/p>\n
– working extensively with your hands<\/p>\n
– operating digital equipment in the studio- laser cutters, CNC, macOS – the ability to communicate clearly and thoughtfully<\/p>\n – the ability to self-direct, prioritize and multi-task<\/p>\n
– operating analog equipment in the shop- sanders, cutters
– working individually and collaboratively to get things done
– contributing to the design process whenever possible
– getting your hands dirty, while keeping your work clean
