We worked with a few students from SPU & SCC last year for our film Prospect. We have another opportunity this year and wanted to see if any UW students are looking for an internship. Info below!

Here is some info on the project\/ask:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
We are looking for\u00a01-2 Design Interns\u00a0to work with\u00a0<\/span>a multidisciplinary art and design group\u00a0 called TAKA\u00a0that will be putting together an exhibition at Glassbox Gallery in the international district this fall.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
TAKA was created by the same\u00a0group that did all the production design for PROSPECT(www.prospectthefilm.com<\/a>), a feature-film made in Seattle that premiered at SXSW last March and is getting a national theatrical run in November.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
During the production of PROSPECT, we had a number of graphic designers and graphic design interns help build out the world – from developing a new language, creating fictional company branding & products, to creating manuals & books for the characters to interact with.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\n
We’re\u00a0looking for someone who has a strong ability to identify an aesthetic POV and be able to run confidently in that direction with whatever the project is\u00a0at hand.\u00a0\u00a0One of the main priorities will be designing and building a\u00a0website<\/b>, which will\u00a0launch the\u00a0TAKA brand identity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
In addition to a website we’ll be working on:<\/span><\/div>\n

There will be merch that we’ll need to create–shirts, stickers, patches, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Gallery Install<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We’ll be branding and installing an exhibit\u00a0Glass Box Gallery<\/a>.\u00a0This most\u00a0likely\u00a0will entail everything from creating the wall tags, helping develop the show brochure, to loading\/unloading sculptures to getting vinyl lettering made to put on the walls.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
