The right candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, interest and \/or background in the arts, a sense of humor, and a positive &amp; professional demeanor. A commitment of two days\/week are required for this role with availability to begin in September 2019. Applicants\u200b must be able to commit to a minimum of three months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Fulfill reception duties as needed, both in gallery, online and via phone<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage on-site gallery inventory, archives and records<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Support gallery administration and operations<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage client relationships and communications as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assist in editing, publishing and promoting communications content<\/li>\n<li>Support exhibition installations, prepare materials for client viewings<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0As needed, support director with scheduling, appointments, preparations for travel and client outreach<\/li>\n<li>As needed, support exhibition programming with research, outreach &amp; curatorial support<strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to commit to three months, at a minimum of two full days per week in the gallery, with hours 11AM-5:30PM<\/li>\n<li>Interns should be currently enrolled at the junior or senior undergraduate level or recently graduated from anundergraduate or graduate program.<\/li>\n<li>Gallery, museum or institutional experience a plus, but not required<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and design software a plus<\/li>\n<li>Experience with google suite required<\/li>\n<li>Artists are encouraged to applyPlease include your cover letter in the body of an email (tell us about yourself and your interest in this position, a standard, templated cover letter is not necessary) and attach your current cv, as well as a recent writing sample.\n<p>Send applications to: kimberly@koplindelrio.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Koplin Del Rio Gallery \u200bis currently accepting applications for a fall gallery intern.
