The Adult Education and Interpretation Coordinator, is responsible for
\ndeveloping and managing adult education offerings at the National Nordic
\nMuseum, including, but not limited to, classes, workshops, conferences,
\ndocent training, and public programs. This position provides oversight of the
\nMuseum\u2019s tour program.<\/p>\n

\nworkshops, classes, conferences, Folk School, and other educational
\nprogramming as assigned
\n\u25cf Propose creative, dynamic approaches to foster audience engagement
\n\u25cf Manage the Museum\u2019s tour program, including developing interpretive
\ntechniques and materials for the docent program
\n\u25cf Research, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational
\nprogramming; compile budgets; manage resources, scheduling,
\ncommunications, outreach, and timelines
\n\u25cf Develop and manage partnerships with community groups to enhance
\neducational programming
\n\u25cf Understand the needs of the communities served by the Museum
\n\u25cf Must have an authentic belief in and support of accessibility and equity
\nfor diverse audiences and learning styles
\n\u25cf Develop, implement, and track metrics to measure, evaluate,
\ninterpret, and analyze the effectiveness and impact of public programs
\n\u25cf In collaboration with Curatorial staff, develop programs, activities, and
\ninterpretive materials to complement temporary and permanent
\nexhibitions
\n\u25cf Provide administrative and programmatic support to Educational &
\nCultural Programs Manager as required
\n\u25cf Respond to proposals and general inquiries concerning Museum
\nprogramming
\n\u25cf Liaise with Museum staff to communicate needs in the areas of
\nmarketing, volunteers, fund development, and facilities support<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a
\nvariety of stakeholders (staff, volunteers, instructors, vendors,
\ncustomers)
\n\u25cf Highly organized and detail oriented, with excellent administrative and
\ntime management skills
\n\u25cf Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with high energy and
\nstrong problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
\nquestions, and provide solutions to achieve department and
