ZINC has a mission to make women in the art world more visible and successful and passionately believe that art inspires curiosity and fuels positive change in our world.<\/p>\n<p><b>Overview of the Internship:<\/b><br \/>\nThe Gallery Intern will assist with and lead a variety tasks for the gallery. Dependent on experience and interests duties might include:<br \/>\n-Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, processing sales, inventory, preparing artist dossiers etc.<br \/>\n-Research activities on potential grants, collectors, collections, art fairs, new markets etc.<br \/>\n-Exhibition activities including unpacking and preparing pieces for display, installation \/ de-installation, packing and shipping, event coordination etc.<br \/>\n-Marketing, Design and PR activities such as writing rough drafts of press releases, creating social media schedules, greeting visitors and creating connections to artwork, producing online newsletters etc.<br \/>\n-Sales. Working with clients to find the artwork that will elevate and delight them.<\/p>\n<p>Intern will work closely with other team members one on one, attend and participate in weekly meetings to report on projects \/ make suggestions based on research, and assist with other special projects.<br \/>\nThis internship position is available at both of our locations (Pioneer Square or Edmonds).<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><br \/>\n-Ability to lift 25lbs, experienced with power tools, and able to climb ladders w\/o fear of heights<br \/>\n-Experience working with fragile and delicate items, graceful, high attention to detail<br \/>\n-Multi-tasker able to prioritize and reprioritize tasks with team members and individually<br \/>\n-Adept in Microsoft Office, and Google Drive, able to pick up new technology quickly and able to work in both Mac and Windows environments<br \/>\n-Curious with an insatiable thirst for learning<br \/>\n-Responsible, accountable, timely<br \/>\n-FUN and eager to learn!<\/p>\n<h4>For more information and to apply, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indeed.com\/viewjob?cmp=ZINC-contemporary&amp;t=Gallery+Intern&amp;jk=34b995bbfc7f682b&amp;q=Design+Internship&amp;vjs=3\">HERE<\/a>.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ZINC contemporary is seeking interns for their two locations in Pioneer Square and Edmonds.
