The Enrichment Instructor will be responsible for leading, planning and managing a group of elementary school students. The enrichment instructor will focus on teaching participants the basics of various types of multi-media art. This position will be also responsible for creating a fun and creative environment for participants. A passion for teaching is a must!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Various\u00a0Sites<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pay range:<\/strong>\u00a0$18.00 &#8211; $25.00 Hourly DOE<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a02 &#8211; 5 Hours per week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start date:<\/strong>\u00a0We are always hiring for this role as an Instructor or a Substitute Instructor;\u00a0so let us know that you are interested. <strong>In particular, we are looking for instructors to start in the Springtime. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience creating innovative age appropriate curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Experience teaching multi-media Art to elementary age children<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage a group of kids<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead and create lesson plans<\/li>\n<li>Over the age of 21 years old<\/li>\n<li>Must pass a criminal background check<\/li>\n<li>Must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to obtain First Aid\/CPR certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This is a part-time position.\u00a0<\/strong>Benefits include 401(k), Pre-tax Employee Contribution Transit Plan, Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested \u2013 please email Andrea Ashton (<a href=\"mailto:andrea.ashton@seattle.gov\">andrea.ashton@seattle.gov<\/a>) with a resume.
