We work with audiences, artists, makers, and designers to understand our shared experience of the world.<\/p>\n<h5>Description<\/h5>\n<p>Bellevue Arts Museum is seeking a Retail Sales Associate who will provide excellent customer service to all guests and visitors by greeting and engaging with visitors for the purpose of sharing information about Museum Store merchandise, as well as the Museum itself.<\/p>\n<h5>Job Responsibilities<\/h5>\n<p>\u2022 Actively engage customers in conversation and actively assist in the understanding, demonstration, description, and selection of merchandise.<br \/>\n\u2022 Accurately operate point of sale and inventory management systems: including the entering of sales information, receiving payment for products, making correct change, processing refunds, exchanges and voids, issuing gift certificates, and credits.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits and end of day reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Actively maintain the store appearance including keeping merchandise neatly organized, dust and clean shelves regularly, and restock merchandise consistently.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a good understanding of store policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Other projects as assigned.<\/p>\n<h5>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<\/h5>\n<p>\u2022 High school diploma and retail experience preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be able to accurately operate a point of sale system<br \/>\n\u2022 Reliability and Dependability<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends, nights, and special events<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be able to effectively and congenially deal with heavy public contact<br \/>\n\u2022 Must present a neat, professional appearance<br \/>\n\u2022 Must pass a background check.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, email your resume along with a brief letter of interest to <a href=\"mailto:retail@bellevuearts.org\">retail@bellevuearts.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Retail Sales Associate Department: Museum Store Reports to: Store Manager Schedule: Part-time, average of 20 hours\/week.
