Our parent company, J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. (J-U-B), is looking for a Graphic Design & Production Specialist to work in any of our offices. This is an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer to design digital collateral pieces, infographics, web, social media, video in collaboration with our team made up of a diverse group of engineering, GIS and strategic communications professionals. Commensurate with contribution and value-added, this position includes substantial opportunity for growth into a key role with J-U-B to deliver important business development and communication strategies.<\/p>\n
To be successful in this position, an individual will need to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have excellent design and organizational skills and possess strong verbal and written communication abilities.<\/p>\n
The selected individual will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Implementing company branding consistently
\nDeveloping templates in Word, Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint.
\nProviding art direction for proposals, reports, etc.
\nImplementing visual communications strategy
\nWeb design
\nVideo production and editing
\nSocial media graphics
\nDeveloping project-specific branding, as needed
\nPublic outreach materials: fliers, posters, meeting materials and collateral.
\nThe ideal candidate will have proficiency in:<\/p>\n
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), content management systems (WordPress), and Microsoft Office Suite.
\nGraphic design principles: layout and aesthetic concepts.
\nPhotography and video filming, editing, and production.
\nSocial media
\nThe position will require:<\/p>\n
A bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field and five years of professional-level experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.
\nAbility to articulate well in written communication and write persuasively. Proper English usage, editing, spelling, grammar, writing styles, and punctuation.
\nAbility to effectively and efficiently communicate verbally and in writing.
\nAbility to take complex, technical concepts and break them down to simple visuals and infographics
\nAbility to work under accelerated timelines and meet specific deadlines.
