{"id":4324,"date":"2021-02-24T15:34:54","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T23:34:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=4324"},"modified":"2021-02-24T15:34:54","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T23:34:54","slug":"trash-art-contest-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2021\/02\/24\/trash-art-contest-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Trash Art Contest 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/green.uw.edu\/blog\/2021-02\/trash-art-contest-2021\">Trash Art Contest 2021<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><strong>How to Submit<\/strong><br \/>\nParticipants must fill out the submission form by Friday March 26, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Submission must include: artist name, medium, piece name, and a brief description of the art piece.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2015 Contest Rules<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmissions that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.<br \/>\n\u2022 Artist must be a current UW student, faculty or staff member<br \/>\n\u2022 The art piece can be an individual or group project<br \/>\n\u2022 Each participant may only submit one art project, whether it is a group project or individual submission<br \/>\n\u2022 The theme may be a broader sustainability topic, it must relate to waste, or an idea about waste in a meaningful capacity<br \/>\n\u2022 The art piece may be submitted under one of the following categories:<br \/>\n\u2022 Literature (essay, poetry, drama, or a story)<br \/>\n\u2022 Visual arts (painting, drawing, collage, or sculpture)<br \/>\n\u2022 Graphic arts (photography, design, and other forms expressed digitally)<br \/>\n\u2022 All projects should be safe to handle (no hazards, etc.) along with being socially and culturally appropriate<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2015 Judging Criteria<\/strong><br \/>\nTwo winners will be chosen per category.
