We aim to further policing standards that are driven by community and rooted in equity through objective reviews, independent investigations, and evidence-based policy recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>OLEO is seeking a graphic designer who can design its Annual Report (to be published by June 1, 2022), and update templates or public materials in line with office branding. Past reports can be viewed here: <a href=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/independent\/law-enforcement-oversight\/reports.aspx\">https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/independent\/law-enforcement-oversight\/reports.aspx<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The designer will work under the supervision of OLEO\u2019s director. The designer will work closely with OLEO\u2019s senior policy analyst, who is responsible for leading the Annual Report development, and with OLEO\u2019s community engagement manager, who is responsible for public materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design OLEO\u2019s Annual Report, which will be published by June 1, 2022.<\/li>\n<li>Propose and make recommendations to the OLEO team on where information in the annual report can be conveyed effectively through graphics and visual means.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings and collaborate with OLEO staff working on the annual report content.<\/li>\n<li>Design and update office templates and public materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of and ability to use Adobe InDesign.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of equity and social justice principles, including accessibility by diverse people and communities, and experience putting those principles into practice.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and ability to visually convey complex public\/community issues in a way that enables and enhances understanding.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to convey technical content into visual design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For questions: <\/strong>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:Tamer.Abouzeid@kingcountygov\">Tamer.Abouzeid@kingcountygov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong> Please send letter of interest, resume, and online portfolio or at least two sample graphic design work products to <a href=\"mailto:Tamer.Abouzeid@kingcounty.gov\">Tamer.Abouzeid@kingcounty.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following items are important for you to know about part-time employment with King County:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position is ineligible for King County health benefits.
