Seattle Co-Arts Scholarship Informatio<\/strong>n<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
Seattle Co-Arts, a non-profit organization committed to encouraging creative and artistic development, will be awarding a $2000 scholarship this year in honor of Joan O’Byrne. Qualified art students currently enrolled in a comprehensive <\/b>2-to-4-year<\/b>\u00a0fine art program with an emphasis on non-digital 2-dimensional work will be eligible.<\/b><\/div>\n

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n

To be considered, applicants must be currently enrolled in a
\ncomprehensive 2-to-4-year fine art program with an emphasis on 2-
\ndimensional work and have completed at least one year of that
\nprogram by June 30, 2023.<\/p>\n

The program must be in King, Pierce, or Snohomish County.<\/p>\n

Applicants must provide all requested information as well as a resume, letter of recommendation from a current instructor, and five examples of your completed 2-dimensional, hand created fine artwork.<\/p>\n

The scholarship recipient will be expected to attend (via Zoom) an
\ninterview session and our organization’s June 26th meeting to accept
\nthe award.<\/p>\n

Application Process Closes – April 28, 2023<\/p>\n

Application Reviews by the Scholarship Committee – May 1 – May 15, 2023<\/p>\n

Finalists Contacted and Interviews Scheduled – May 25, 2023<\/p>\n

Scholarship Award Announced – June16th (or earlier)<\/p>\n

Scholarship Awarded – June 26, 2023<\/p>\n
