Electric kiln loading\/unloading<br \/>\nand firing knowledge is preferred but not required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you\u2019d be doing:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Teaching small classes of 6 people at a time, primarily adults ages 16 and older. During<br \/>\nthe summer there will be camps for kids ages 6-12.<br \/>\n&#8211; Teaching short 2 hour classes as well as 6 week long courses where students meet once<br \/>\nper week for 3 hours a session.<br \/>\n&#8211; Loading\/unloading and firing the kiln (after properly trained)<br \/>\n&#8211; Lesson planning. You will have the freedom to teach what you want as long as it fits<br \/>\nwithin certain parameters that make sense for beginners and the class type.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; High School Diploma or GED<br \/>\n&#8211; At least 18 years old<br \/>\n&#8211; Able to lift up to 50lbs without help<br \/>\n&#8211; Must have weekend availability<br \/>\n&#8211; Portfolio of work.
