Exhibits are held at beautiful City Hall Art<br \/>\nGallery. Artists are juried by the Lynnwood Arts Commission and will be notified by the mid November. (Youth artists can<br \/>\nalso apply to exhibit at the Lynnwood Rec Center. See www.LynnwoodArts.org).<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION:<\/strong> By applying to be in this exhibit, you agree to the terms and conditions stated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lynnwoodwa.gov\/files\/sharedassets\/public\/v\/1\/parks-recreation-and-cultural-arts\/arts-culture-and-heritage\/art-exhibits\/2025_cityhallartgallery_application.pdf\">this form<\/a>.<br \/>\nEmail the following (or mail equivalent):<br \/>\n1. Completed Information form to: fwong@lynnwoodwa.gov<br \/>\n2. Attach up to 10 JPEG files of artwork. Also 1 photo of yourself. At least 1200&#215;1500 pixels at 300dpi for use in<br \/>\npublicity.<br \/>\n3. Email is preferred. If unable to email, mail the application including the completed information form with CD<br \/>\ncontaining up to 10 JPEG images (min 1200&#215;1500 pixels). Please note that CD will not be returned to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LENGTH OF EXHIBITS:<\/strong> Approximately 6 weeks to 2 months, during a specified period in 2025. All artwork displayed<br \/>\nmust remain installed for the specified duration of the exhibit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SIZE RESTRICTIONS:<\/strong> 2-D work from 12\u201dx12\u201d to 48\u201dx48\u201d properly wired for hanging. 3-D work must be able to hang on<br \/>\nwall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GALLERY:<\/strong> Inside City Hall at 19100 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Space is 32 linear feet for 10-15 pieces of<br \/>\nmedium sized art. Most shows are 2-person shows, so 5-8 pieces per artist. We encourage artists to visit and preview the<br \/>\nspace. Hours: M-F 8:30am &#8211; 5pm. Evening hours: Most Mondays &amp; 3rd Wednesdays, 5:30-8pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUBJECT MATTER:<\/strong> This is a public space visited by people of many cultures, nationalities, and ages. We reserve the<br \/>\nright to not exhibit work that we deem unsuitable for the public space (for example, works that contain nudity, or<br \/>\ninappropriate language).<\/p>\n<p><strong>DELIVERY &amp; PICK-UP:<\/strong> Artwork must be hand-delivered and picked-up on the day and time scheduled. There is no<br \/>\nstorage for packing materials. Installations are weekdays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ART SALES:<\/strong> Contact information of interested buyers will be provided directly to artists to complete purchase<br \/>\ntransactions. No sales commission is charged.<br \/>\nWe reserve the right to invite artists who do not apply and to NOT select an artist through this application process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIABILITY:<\/strong> Please be advised that every reasonable precaution will be taken during the receiving, installation, exhibition<br \/>\nand return of your artwork but the City of Lynnwood, their officials, officers, employees or volunteers do not assume<br \/>\nresponsibility for loss or damage that might be incurred during this process. All work needs to be of substantial enough<br \/>\nnature to withstand these procedures.
