Pok\u00e9mon was launched in Japan in 1996 and today is one of the most popular children&#8217;s entertainment properties in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more online at <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.pokemon.com\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">corporate.pokemon.com <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us?_gl=1*17cpv5d*_ga*OTgxMzkwODEzLjE3MjcxOTg5NjQ.*_ga_DHWT8DSRN3*MTcyNzE5ODk2My4xLjAuMTcyNzE5ODk2My4wLjAuMA..\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pokemon.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><strong><em>Get to know the role<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Job Title: Graphic Designer<\/li>\n<li>Job Summary: This role will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, packaging, promotional and branding materials, and other print and digital materials.<\/li>\n<li>FLSA Classification (US Only): Exempt<\/li>\n<li>People Manager: No<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><strong><em>What you\u2019ll do <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborates with team, editorial staff, manager, art director, and\/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.<\/li>\n<li>Creates original product concepts and designs that communicate the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.<\/li>\n<li>Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.<\/li>\n<li>Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.<\/li>\n<li>Consults with graphics manager, art director, and\/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares print-ready files for vendors and localization on notification of final approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><strong><em>What you\u2019ll bring <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in producing design work aligned with brand requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently on an assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Organized with attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><strong><em>Base Salary Range: <\/em><\/strong><\/span>For this role, new hires generally start between $83,000 &#8211; $97,850 per year. The full range is $83,000 &#8211; $123,000. per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
