AES 496: Senior Seminar II

This course is the second of the two-part senior capstone seminar for majors in American Ethnic Studies. This means that you are required to complete AES 495 before you register for this class. This course is intended to provide students the opportunity to develop and produce a scholarly research paper that will qualify as a senior thesis for the major. It is expected that the quality of the senior paper should approach, if not equal, a publishable article and/or one that may be used as a writing sample for graduate school application. The bulk of the course will entail one-on-one consultations with your professor. Class meetings will be devoted to collective discussions of writing drafts.
