Jiedson "Jed" Domigpe, Ph.C. received his MA in TESOL in 2008 from Seattle Pacific University. Currently he is at the University of Washington, working on his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, and teaching classes in Tagalog. Prior to joining UW, he acquired extensive experience in foreign language instruction at the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of California at Irvine, the University of Wisconsin at Madison and the Defense Language Institute and Foreign Service Institute. In the last locale he was nominated as the Best Teacher for the prestigious Cox Award. As a teacher and author, he is dedicated to developing materials that will enhance his students' acquisition of the Tagalog language and their appreciation for the target culture. His students are stimulated by his enthusiasm and passion. Moreover, he has also facilitated numerous workshops on language teacher education.
