OP Viewers Object & Panorama Viewers | by: Sitt Therakomen | Design Machine Group (DMG) | Department of Architecture | University of Washington

Object & Panorama Viewers are simple Java applets for displaying a 3D effect on a web page. Think of them as "looking-at" and "looking-around" tools. By combining photographs of an object or a place, a designer can quickly and easily produce the illusion of a three dimensional model as part of a virtual environment on the web.

The Object Viewer provides a "looking-at" effect. It arranges a series of images of an object (taken from different angles) in a grid. Driven by the user's mouse, the display of coutinuous images gives the impression of a three-dimensional object.

The Panorama (or "looking-around") Viewer allows a user to interact with a panoramic image with panning control and linked hotspots.
