Financial Information

Doctoral-degree trainees and post-doctoral fellows selected for the training program receive a monthly stipend, tuition support, and health insurance coverage. All stipend amounts are determined and updated by the NIH annually.
In addition, travel support is provided for students to conduct research and attend national and regional public health meetings. The training program also provides additional support in the form of shared study/research space, supplies, and research-related assistance. This additional support will be influenced by the annual budget and determined by the Program Director.
Individuals pursuing doctoral degrees may be offered funding for up to three years. Post-doctoral fellows pursuing an MPH or MS receive tuition and stipend support for one to two consecutive years.
