Known Issues

• Mouse-over and hover state are not supported by the Pointing Magnifier because mouse position can only be passed to underlying applications when a click occurs.


• When activated, the Pointing Magnifier must capture the mouse, removing it from other applications. However, pop-up and dropdown menus close when they lose mouse capture. Therefore, menus must be drawn on top of the Pointing Magnifier, which allows the user to interact with the menu directly, even if magnification is temporarily unavailable. (See the picture at the right.)


• The Pointing Magnifier does not work with other 3rd party software such as ZoomText which also magnifies the screen.
