It is our goal to accommodate visitors with visual impairment. To achieve this, the website has been designed to retain functionality with larger typesizes; consequently it may look slightly different from websites you are more accustomed to using. We recommend a Windows environment and Microsoft's Internet Explorer for browsing this website.

If you are visually impaired it is likely that your Windows system font size settings are already adjusted to "Large" to accommodate your disability, and that no additional changes to your browser settings will be necessary.

Checking your Windows font size settings: Right-click on the background of your desktop, and from the pop-up menu select "Properties." Then select "Settings" and "Advanced." Notice the "Font Size" field now displayed. If you experience visual impairment, make sure "Large Fonts" is the item selected from the drop-down menu. This choice will aid all aspects of your use of the Windows environment, as well as while you are browsing the Web. If this was a change you had to make, you will have to restart your computer for the change to become effective.

If your Windows system font size settings are "Large": You may use Internet Explorer text size settings up to and including "Medium." Click on "View" and select "Text Size" to see what your browser font size is. If you use Netscape, experiment with the "View / Increase / Decrease Font" button to find the size that works best for you. Always remember to "Refresh" or "Reload" either browser after changing the font size.

If your Windows system font size settings are "Small": You may use Internet Explorer's text size "Largest" without compromising site functionality. Click on "View" and select "Text Size" to see what your browser font size is. If you use Netscape, experiment with the "View / Increase / Decrease Font" button to find the size that works best for you. Always remember to "Refresh" or "Reload" either browser after changing the font size.
