Lost, then found. A UW graduate is reunited with her missing class ring thanks to a young man who turned to the UWAA’s Facebook page for help. The story was featured on KING-5 TV.

Eric Brill was determined to find the lost ring’s owner after his dad stumbled upon it one night at Valley Medical Center in Renton. A student at Western Washington University who was home for the spring break, Eric posted a note to the UWAA Facebook page and we chatted back and forth for the better part of the day.

He had discovered a name inscribed on the inside of the ring, and using the alumni database I found a woman I thought to be the owner. I called her up and, yes, it was hers!

But that’s not what makes the story so incredible.
