Oceania cruises continue to be a popular and exciting program with our UW alumni! Many have and will explore the water and ports of the Panama Canal, Scandinavia, Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East. Having experienced a cruise on one of these beautiful ships myself..I can attest to the pleasures of fabulous cuisine, luxurious state rooms and stunning destinations. But it’s really the camaraderie of our UW group and fellow travelers that sticks out in my mind. We would sail away from exotic ports after a day of sightseeing, the sun would be setting..and happy hour at the Horizon bar called our names! Some evenings there would be 25 of us, other evenings intimate groups of 12. All of us sharing our experiences of the day and of our lives for that matter.
In May 2011, join John Buller and Laurie Sorensen for another one of these great cruises.
Cradle of History starts its voyage in Athens, continues down to Alexandria and Cairo, Jerusalem, Cyprus and finally Istanbul. The name of this cruise certainly is appropriate! Not only are these destinations truly magical, but you’ll be traveling with two of our favorite UW hosts who will ensure the Husky spirit is celebrated throughout the cruise!
