Winter Quarter Business meeting
Chris welcomed everyone to the program. She requested ALUW faculty committee representatives to please forward their reports to Tricia at hart@u.
Chris commented on the effect of the earthquake on legislative activities discussed in Andy Johnson's March 5th Legislative Update. Many of the issues may be pushed aside as the legislature grapples with the effects of the earthquake. As Legislative Committee Chair, Andy is working with Tom Bristow, ALUW Lobbyist.
Venta Silins gave the Treasurer's report:
$4,974.49 Total
$2,400.15 of the total is for the Legislative Fund
Venta thanked everyone for their contributions. She reported that we're still short of our goal for the legislative fund and she will be sending out another solicitation mailing.
