Notes from the ISP presentations at the Brown Bag

Questions to ask yourself:

What do I need?
Email only? Web access? Web site? newsgroups?
How much do I want to pay?
How much time will I be spending online?

Questions to ask potential ISPs:

What is your billing rate?
Is it a flat rate? Base rate + added fees? Charge per connect time (minute or hour)?
What types of support do you offer?
24 hour telephone support? How many days a week?
Are there specific hardware/software requirements?
