Fellows ProgramThe Center for American Politics and Public Policy is dedicated to fostering mentorship at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Through collaboration with faculty and each other, students develop a better understanding of the research process and go on to accomplish much in careers in political science and public policy. Matthews Graduate Fellowship ProgramThe Donald R. Matthew's Program for Excellence in Political Science was created as a result of a generous gift from former chair of the Political Science Department at the University of Washington, Don Matthews. The Matthews Graduate Fellowship is awarded once a year to a distinguished graduate student. Undergraduate Fellows ProgramThe Undergraduate Fellows Program aims to create opportunities for advanced undergraduates to engage in research with the help and support of faculty members. This year long program allows students towork closely with faculty members and graduate students, creating long lasting connections while developing a research project of their choosing. Graduate Fellows ProgramGraduate fellows associated with the Center for American Politics and Public Policy are uniquely positioned to collaborate with each other and faculty. We strive to support our graduate students in a variety of ways including seeking sources of external funding and providing opportunities for graduate fellows to work with diverse a group of political scientists and public policy specialists.
