UW Combined Fund Drive

"Workplace fundraising is the most cost-efficient way for charities to support their missions. One fall campaign provides steady income throughout the following year; charities can count on receiving quarterly checks and projecting their budgets with accuracy."
—Karen White, Executive Director, Community Health Charities

Why use the CFD?

It's convenient & secure. You can make a lump sum donation by check or pay-roll deduction, or spread it out over multiple paychecks. Your total contributions will be listed on your W-2 (if you donate by payroll deduction) which is very handy at tax time.

Even the smallest donation can go a long way:

  • $1 per month: Sends a child with epilepsy to a morning summer camp.
  • $2 per month: Helps provide emergency aid to 5,00 disaster victims.
  • $3 per month: Covers the cost of a cleft lip/palate surgery in a Third World Country.
  • $5 per month: Provides 3 weeks worth of baby food for one child.
