University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology has academic anesthesiologist positions available at the rank of Acting Assistant or Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor depending on qualifications. Appointment may be in clinician track or clinician-scientist track. Will be involved in the teaching of residents and fellows at the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center Dept. of Anesthesia & Critical Care, which delivers 10,500 anesthetics per year to children of all ages and diagnoses. A minimum of one year completed fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia or equivalent degree of experience required. Interest and training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia or pain management desirable, but not mandatory. Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Anesthesiology, and obtain State of Washington medical licensure. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
