The University of Washington, Department of Anesthesiology has 1-2 year clinical positions available at the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Seattle, Washington, USA. Appointments will be at the Acting Assistant Professor level. Applicants should have passed the Fellowship and have nearly completed or completed their Senior Registrar posts with minimum of one year of subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia required. The post involves 4-1/2 days per week in operating room, providing anesthesia to children of all ages and diagnoses, with the exception of congenital heart disease. Some supervision of trainees in pediatric anesthesia is expected. More senior positions are available for those who have extensive clinical experience, and particularly, have academic credentials.
Competitive salary and benefits are offered, including malpractice and health insurance, four weeks of annual vacation, and an academic discretionary fund for books, educational resources and continuing medical education.
Must have a medical degree and current medical license in home country in order to obtain a Washington State medical license.
