- A: It's usually dry in the summer, although we can get
morning fog. We get thunderstorms in Spring and early Fall.
We rarely get snow or heavy rain. It's cloudy in wintertime,
but the weather is rarely harsh.
- Q: Where do the anesthesiologists work?
- A: Anesthesiologists and anesthetists work in the operating
rooms, ERs, pain clinics and hospital wards of four
major hospitals in the region.
- Q: What kind of work do the people do?
- A: Staff in the department work on research
projects and teach the residents. They also provide
anesthetic care for people of all ages and physical status.
Some further specialize in providing care to particular
patient groups, like children or those with chronic pain.
Faculty choose career pathways that fit their interests.
