    Biographical Statement: My interest and passion is providing the safest possible care to all of the patients receiving care inside UWMC and UW Medicine. My team from the Center for Clinical Excellence is working to be the catalyst for advancing world-class quality, safety, and service in healthcare. We are doing this by working to develop a hospital system that is free of healthcare acquired infections, medication errors and injury. We are doing this work inside a system with a well developed culture of safety built on reporting and disclosure of adverse events, teamwork and a system that balances safety and accountability.
