Fellowship in Pediatric Pain Medicine, Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center

Description

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center and the University of Washington is offering a fellowship in pediatric pain medicine. This fellowship offers 6 or 12 months focused on Pediatric Pain Medicine.

The eligible candidate should have completed ACGME approved residency in anesthesiology or pediatrics. During their training, the fellow will be an integral part of the Pain Management Service at Children’s where they will obtain skills in evaluation and management of both inpatient and outpatient acute, chronic and cancer pain amongst pediatric patients within a multi-disciplinary setting. There are elective opportunities to obtain adult pain management experience at the University of Washington Multi-Disciplinary Pain Center, Virginia Mason Medical Center as well as complementary medicine therapies at both the Bastyr University of Natural Health and Children’s that will enhance their training experience in pain medicine. Clinical and basic research opportunities are also available to the fellows during their training.
