Shedra Amy Snipes PhD 2006 (2nd from right) and Dawn Neill PhD 2007 (far right) with Prof. Kathleen O'Connor (front, center) and Snipes family members. Amy completed her dissertation entitled "Pesticides and Cortisol Increase in Mexican Migrant Farmworkers: A Bio-Cultural Assessment", and is now employed as a post-doc with the Center for Research on Minority Health the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dawn completed her dissertation entitled "The Effect of Urbanization on Parental Investment Decisions among Indo-Fijians" and will be a Lecturer for UW Anthropology for 2007-08.
